The database provides subcontractors a fast and easy channel for signing up as an SRV supplier and updating their information.
Due to extensive projects and a large order backlog, SRV is constantly looking for skilled and reliable contractors and material suppliers who share the company's values and want to become a part of the company's story.
Launched in December 2019, the electronic supplier database provides an open, easy-to-use and efficient channel for providing services to SRV. The database is open to all construction industry contractors and suppliers. Existing suppliers have already been transferred to the database automatically, so these suppliers can now update their contact details and service portfolio on the website.
SRV’s principles are based on customer focus, service excellence, accountability and innovativeness. As such, SRV only accepts partner companies with similar values.
“With the introduction of the supplier database, we can now more easily run background checks on potential partner companies. The database is a great tool for fighting illicit work as it is not open to companies with a shady background”, SRV Chief Procurement Officer Seppo Kopsa explains.
SRV is continuously improving its operations together with its partners and actively sourcing new suppliers from the global market to help make its operations more efficient. The database is also available in English, making it easier than ever for international companies to join SRV’s supplier network.
